How do I use Mutual App rating?

Buyer: How do I give a rating to a seller?

Note: You should be logged in to give a rating to the seller.

1) As the buyer, you initiate the Mutual Rating. After you've transacted (bought the item) with the seller, you could tap the ‘I BOUGHT THIS ITEM’ button in the chat.

Tapping this will initiate the mutual rating modal.


2) If you logged out, the app will ask you to log in or register (if you have no account yet) before being able to rate.  

3) The Mutual Rating modal will enable you to rate the seller using a star rating, as well as, to give a descriptive feedback (required).

 4) If you gave a 4 or 5-stars and Saved the rating, the system will capture the rating and feedback.
The rating and feedback will have pending status until Seller confirms that the Buyer who gave feedback was the one who bought the item.


5) If user gave a 3-star rating or below, you can have the option to save the rating and feedback or save it and send a report.

Ticking on the Send a report will display the Report User page.
The rating and feedback will have pending status until Seller confirms that the Buyer who gave feedback was the one who bought the item.

6) This page is similar to the Report Ad page where you can select a reason and input description for the report.
The report will be forwarded to the Anti Fraud team’s Abuses panel as a flagged ad. From this, Fraud team can investigate and handle the concern.

 

7) After submitting the rating and feedback and/or report, there will be an indicator that the item has been sold.

 

Seller: How do I give a rating to a buyer?

1) As the seller, after your buyer initiated the mutual rating, you will be sent a push notification that the buyer left a rating for you.
If you opened the push notification, or the chat box where you've transacted, you will see the Mutual Rating modal.

2) Once you've confirmed, you can now rate the buyer. The rating of the buyer will also now be saved to your account.
Rating flow is similar with the buyer’s rating flow.

3) The major difference is that when you rate the buyer with three or less stars, you will not have an option to send a report. Instead, you will need to report user manually by emailing us via support@olx.ph.
